Watercolor effects

I’m not an artist by an means. I have no skills with actual drawings or painting so I rely on Photoshop to help with various effects on my photos. One good example is the watercolor effect. Shown are 2 photos of mine that I’ve applied the effect to, with pleasing results. There is no way that I would be able to do an actual painting with the details, so Photoshop is the next best thing.

Of Photoshop Filters

Photoshop is an excellent tool for photographers to take bland images and create something eye-catching. An example of that is when I went to Put-in-Bay a few summers ago with nothing more than a Sony Cybershot pocker camera. Trip to the Cleveland Zoo

Recently, I took a trip to the Cleveland Zoo and of course, took the camera. Had a few great shots, some ok shots, and some that aren’t worth posting. So, let’s take a look at what I did capture that day. 1. Playing with the macro setting on the lens, I was able to get a decent shot of a flower towards the beginning of the zoo. 2.
